doomsday 2012????

The new cycle has already begun with the recent observation of a solar spot with reverse polarity. But some surprising activity on March 27, 2008, shows some huge eruptions with M-class radiation at about the equatorial region of the Sun. [ See Solar Map]. These surprising eruptions suggests a barycenter of disturbance from an object even more massive than Jupiter, placing the "sleeve" outside the Sun. Could this be the beginning of the Galaxy's effects (keep reading to learn more about this) on our Sun?

Mayan, Tibetan and Vedic chalendar have many simmilarities. In short they are:- They are 4 cycles of time called yugas, and they are always sequentally changing- Every cycle lasts for a specefic time, each cycle has different ration of spirituality and materialism in human society, life spawn of human beings, method of self-realization etc.At the end of each cycle, when there is time for next cycle, there is a short period of destruction - time of BIG changes. As we approach 2012, the changes in human society are going to be bigger and faster. For example, recent economic problem is a indication of system destruction.SolutionWho will survive? There are 2 conditions:

1. Self sufficient agricultural community.

2. Transcendental consciousness

People in towns will starve and people with material consciousness wont be able to keep their sanity. Their materialistic ontology wont be able to withstand the rate of change - they will become insane.

Short tourist flights into space are expected to begin launching from northern Sweden in 2012, one of the companies involved in the project said Wednesday."We expect that the first tourist flights leaving from the United States will start around 2011 and that Kiruna (in northern Sweden) will be next about a year later, in 2012," Spacesport Sweden spokeswoman Johanna Bergstroem-Roos told AFP.The flights will be run by Virgin Galactic, owned by British tycoon Sir Richard Branson, which will first send paying customers around 110 kilometres (70 miles) above the earth from New Mexico in the United States.Virgin Galactic said Tuesday it had signed up five Nordic travel agencies that will be authorised to sell tickets for both the US and the Swedish launches, which will to begin with cost 200,000 dollars (153,000 euros) a piece, although the price will likely come down over time."We hope Kiruna will become Europe's main launch pad for the tourist flights," Bergstroem-Roos said, pointing out that the town located some 145 kilometres (90 miles) north of the Arctic Circle has been home to the Esrange Space Centre since 1966."The suborbital flights that will be sent up with tourists are the kinds of flights we already run from Kiruna, although we today send crewless flights much higher up, to 800 kilometres," she said."We are truly experienced when it comes to space missions."Kiruna is also already a magnate for adventure and wildlife tourists eager to see natural phenomena like the Northern Lights and the Midnight Sun, stay at the nearby Ice Hotel or set off on ski, dog sleigh or snow scooter trips."We expect that if one person in a family that comes up here wants to fly into space, maybe the other family members will sign up for other experiences," Bergstroem-Roos said.Nearly 300 tickets have already been sold for the short tourist space flights, she said, adding that while Danes, Finns and Swedes were among the purchasers, most of the existing ticket-holders would not want to wait for the Kiruna launches to begin and would choose to fly from the United States."Most people want to be first," she said.http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20090318/ts ... RENAISSANCE

RENAISSANCE

RENAISSANCE

About 1400 a great change took place in society and culture in Italy. As it evolved it came to be called the Renaissance, the "rebirth," because of the rediscovery of ancient Roman literature and art in the period. This was, however, only one of its aspects, and many would say only a minor one. First of all, it was the moment of the discovery of individuality, of people able to think and act for themselves. The medieval worker had been an anonymous toiler for the glory of God. On the medieval facade of the church of St. Hubert in Troyes, one reads non nobis, Domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam--"Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name be glory." But one reads across the front of the Renaissance church of San Francesco in Rimini simply the name of the ruler who built it, Sigismondo Malatesta, and the date. The building came to be called Tempio Malatestiano, the Temple of Malatesta.

The Renaissance individual, freed from medieval superstition, cynically experimented in politics (as can be seen in Machiavelli's book 'Il Principe' [The Prince] of 1513), explored new areas of science and nature (as did Galileo), conceived a new philosophy--Neoplatonism--that combined Christian and ancient thought, reintroduced realism into painting and sculpture, and created a new style in architecture. The Renaissance architect was a new and different sort. In place of the medieval craftsman-architect, there were now men skilled in all artistic media, men who understood theory as well as practice and who pretended to personal worth and even genius. Among the leading architects of the period were two sculptors--Filippo Brunelleschi and Michelangelo--and three painters--Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, and Giulio Romano. Leonardo was a scientist, Michelangelo a philosopher and poet. Leon Battista Alberti and Andrea Palladio wrote treatises on architecture. To these men architecture was not a mechanical art pursued by traditional craft rules but a liberal art controlled by abstract intellectual speculation.
