by PAM(Persatuan Arkitek Malaysia) :

1. UITM

2. USM

3. UTM

its a good opportunity to become part of HBP student in usm...by the HBD means HOUSING, BUILDING & PLANNING...hbp consists 6 major which are architecture,qs,buildg tech,project management,interior design & urban planning.

we must to have a ' faundation class' for 1 year before separate into our own major!!!the class more to the design class which included colouring skills using markers, water colour and colour pencil...graphic is the most important for our presentation drawing!

The most IMPORTANT part is SITE ANALYSIS...ya!!!!to be a good architect we must to design something that can sustain with the site based on our site analysis. There are several main components in site analysis:

1. sun orientation which can effects our facade(more or lee shading louvers r use)

2. wind direction ( chimey effects that can cooling our buildg naturally)

3. exixting building and entry of the site

4. vegetative(its more better don't cut the tree)

but some of the components can't have the consistant data which is must be measure by their own specific tools such as anemometer..all this things we just apply when we in architecture studio 200....our lecturer in studio 100 teach us just to assume it without use the specific tools!!SO, keja agak senang la...just surf internet and search for the data!!just 1 click all the data will find out~~

so there are some disimformation which can give a bad effect to our design....some of the student just design without refer to the site analysis, asalkan cantik dan nampak unik agar lecturer suka!yup!!!thats a phenomena in my batch~~

untuk mengatasi masalah ini, ape yang diajari dalam subjek sains persekitaran di praktikkan semasa nak buat site visit...collect all the data.......

So,sangat bertuah la to be part of architecture student in USM....ya la, at least ble graduate sijil degree laku gak... i still remember time interview course ni...time taklimat ada seorang ayah tanya pasal kos architecture universiti lain because tak semua u recognise by PAM!!!b4 nak pilih kos ni kenala buat rsearch skit for our future to avoid disinformation.based on my observe, most of the student apply the familiar U such as UM & UKM for this course.This course agak special kos ni tidak utamakan akademik sahaja tetapi kemahiran,personaliti dan minat dalam bidang ni....tidak semua orang boleh melukis termasuk ME!!!bUT i TRY put an efforts to be a good person in drawing...so hard!!!
